2004-2007 Acts of Compassion has assisted nearly 2 million people in the U.S. with donated food, supplies for distribution, medical supplies, hot meals, clothing and other needed resources through Community Impact Block Parties and Disaster Response.

David Canther, Founder and CEO of Acts of Compassion, a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor for 25 years. His passion was to mobilize the church in meeting the needs of the community through weekly hot meals, Kidz Club children’s programs, Community outreach events, seminars in health, anger management, English literacy, building strong families, and being very involved with community leaders and Pastors. The community became the church! Empowering and training youth and adults, resulted in “Life Changing Ministries” church doubling in size to have 5 services. Satellite churches were begun because of a growing vision to impact more communities.
The Canther family, Sherri a nurse/grant writer, Andrew, son who enjoys mechanics and construction, and Autumn, daughter who loves to sing like her mother and father.
